Hy-Performance Fluid Power

In 18 years of business, Hy-Performance Fluid Power has forged a reputation of “excellence in hydraulics”. Commitment to the customer and a “make it happen” attitude, set by company founders Peter and Moana Robinson, has created a culture of thinking outside the box to deliver solutions that exceed all expectations.
With a team of 34, this small family owned business has expanded in recent times to meet the demands of the market. The team now includes engineers, hydraulic fitters, race engine builders, motor mechanics, CNC technicians, welders, and sales & marketing staff. This diverse range of skills and industry experience allows Hy-Performance to “make it happen” no matter what challenge is presented.
The core business is concentrated around, but not limited to, Driltech blast hole drills and products. With the largest drill parts Exchange Program in the southern hemisphere, Hy-Performance can support your drill with exchange items, pumps, motors, valves, controllers, gearboxes, rotary heads and spare parts to suit. Our 2000 square metre, custom built facility is second to none with sealed contamination-free assembly and test rooms, two 400hp + pump test cells and valve and controller test benches.
Due to increased demand for custom solutions that improve performance, reliability and efficiency, Hy-Performance has expanded their engineering and fabrication facilities. The engineering department has been commissioned to perform such tasks as:
- rectifying the train loader system at Anglo Dawson,
- design and build a "fail safe" light vehicle park/emergency brake for BHP,
- custom engineer, prototype and build improvement kits for Sandvik USA,
- custom build hydraulic tanks, potable water kits, high pressure hydraulic pipes, and
- heavy equipment brake modifications.

Today, the Hy-Performance Fluid Power company goal remains the same as it was back in 1994 -- "make it happen" for the customer.
